Finally...Finally I have finished my final assignment.
Here is the 4ft x 4ft artwork which done by my group members and I.
Our concept is “Golden Symphony”, which inspired by the song “Di Tanjong Katong”. “Golden Symphony” brings the meaning of the sweet memories of the lovers is so precious and wonderful just like every unique symphony that bring happiness and blissfulness. Though the lovers are separated,the sweet memories warm their heart and make them feel that such solitude is beautiful. The memories take care of them and make them strong. “Golden Symphony” also shows that life is colourful and abundance. It brings the feelings of blissful and joy as well.
In our artwork,there are four dominant drawings which are the sun, the eagle, clock and a lady and also two recessive drawings that are piano and plants. The sun is the idea get from the word of our concept-Golden. We chose sun to represent the word “Golden” because it is always describes as the golden ball of fire. Besides that, sun always used to represents hope. Eagle is used to represent courage and future. It is drawn fly towards the sun which brings the meaning of bright future.
The lady is the lover of the man, who he missed so much. She was like an angel to him, she lighten up his life and gives him hope. The lady is wearing a mask because our life is likes the play on the theatre, every single day it plays different story and we are the actors who play the different characters of our life. It is also reflects the people of modern times always wearing a false front to treat people, nowadays people are so untrue, most of them are dishonest.
On the other hand, the clock represents the time. The numbering of the clock are falling because time has passes, it cannot be turn back. Instead we have to greet our future. Leaves are falling down from the trees as times do not wait for us; the lovers are getting older and older. Things around them have changed but their heart and love for each other are still the same.
Apart from that, our artwork will be full with warm colours. It will be a colourful artwork as to relate with the concept “Golden Symphony”. The hair colour of the lady is colourful and bright because she was a goddess to him. The colourful eagle brings the meaning of wonderful life. Life is abundance and fantastic, we should love our life and ourselves.
(也许这个assignment做得并不好，但是我觉得并不重要了，那一切都过去了，至少我们可以看到我们的努力、我们的友谊、我们有说有笑的日子和一切值得我们留恋的东西。)
